Hamza is an experimental sound piece of five tracks, created using field recordings, interviews and noise from Iraq. Heavily inspired by the acoustics of Shi'a islamic ceremonies mourning the loss of mayrted Imams - Hamza combines the human, animal and technological ambience of a post-war country into a series of noises that communicate the tensions of a powerfully holy yet neglected country.

Field recordings and interviews taken in Iraq 2017. Recorded, produced and performed by the artist, 2018.
